Monrovia– The United Dawah Ummah of Liberia (UDUL) will host its eighth edition of the Holy Quran recitation and memorization competition from Friday, March 14, to Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town.

The competition will run daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and winners will be announced on the final day. Mr. Sow also shared that UDUL is constructing a multipurpose facility for Quran teaching and vocational activities, set to accommodate over 300 boarding students.

He thanked various sponsors, including the Government of Liberia, Fouta Cement Corporation, CONEX, Aminata, GAF, and Bility Development Foundation, for their continued support.

The event is open to the public, with Mr. Sow urging the Muslim youth to view the competition as motivation to study, memorize, and live by the teachings of the Quran. Renowned Quran scholars from across the sub-region will serve as judges for the competition.
