Lofa Road Accident

GBARNGA, Liberia, March 13, 2026— At least two people are reported dead following a road accident early Friday along the Lofa Road, according to preliminary reports.
The deceased include a male officer of the Liberia Immigration Service and a female whose identity has not yet been disclosed.
Several other victims sustained critical injuries and are currently receiving treatment at C.B. Dunbar Hospital.
An eyewitness said the Superintendent of Police for Operations, Chris N. Gono, rushed to the scene with an operations vehicle to assist the ambulance in transporting the injured to Gbarnga for further medical attention.
Authorities say an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
