Running from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the session will focus on expanding opportunities, skills training, and leadership channels for young people across the region and will be discussed under the theme ”Rooting and Rising: Liberia’s vision for Youth, Peace and Security”
Liberia’s leadership momentum continues on Monday, September 21, 2026, when the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection hosts a premier high-level forum inside Conference Room 5 at the United Nations Headquarters. Scheduled from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM EST, the delegation will spotlight national efforts to advance social protection, protect children’s rights, and accelerate gender equity across West Africa under the theme, “From Pioneers to Global Leaders: Liberia’s journey in Women, Peace and Security”
EPA Leads Climate Forum
Rounding out the country’s flagship events, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will lead a crucial climate action session on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Westin Grand Central Hotel.
