The National Executive Committee of Alternative National Congress (ANC), extends unfeigned congratulations to Mr. Alexander B. Cummings, Political Leader of the ANC, who on Saturday, March 22, 2025, received another prestigious international leadership award, the Thomas W. Cole Jr. Presidential award.
Mr. Alexander B. Cummings, political leader of the ANC, received the award from the Clark University, USA, for his incredible contributions and unwavering commitment to excellence. As a proud alumnus and former chair of the board of the University, crediting his undeniable leadership ability in the sphere of international and national leadership which has received the recognition of the university he once graduated from several years ago with distinctive honors.
The party leaders of ANC shares, “we have always seen the love and support our political leader carries, but during his time of receiving the awards, we have seen the difference in Mr. Cummings as he received this award, which for him is shared with his political base the ANC, party supporters and those who singlehandedly supports our leader without any political affiliation,” and “we have seen how this institution which shaped our leader now recognizes his work and honors him in the same manner.”
The ANC wishes to express, it is our hope that more Liberians, especially those who support the party and our political leader, and also those who do not, could have seen such a moment, wherein, Mr. Cummings received the award, a proud moment for Liberians, as it was emotional, inspiring, and moving, and the ANC is proud to see it’s political leader and a Liberian receive such an honor.
The proudest of all was when he entered the hall with a standing ovation and cheering crowd who were moved by the Liberian music Grateful, by Deng.
Mr. Cummings is indeed a special person and pray to have more Liberians join us on the new vision for Liberia, to change the old ways of doing business, which has been noticed by Clark University, being a trailblazer and game changer, one Liberian we at ANC are proud of.
