FeJAL to Hold its Annual Retreat in December 2025 | News

The Female Journalists Association of Liberia (FeJAL) is proud to announce the hosting of its Annual Retreat, scheduled for December 2025, under the theme: “Sustaining Women’s Leadership and Representation: Building a Supportive Workspace for Growth in the Media.”This year’s retreat holds special significance as it coincides with the celebration of FeJAL’s remarkable years of existence in advancing women’s leadership, promoting gender representation in the media, and championing supportive workspaces that nurture growth, resilience, and professionalism among women journalists.

The Annual Retreat provides a unique platform for female journalists to reflect, network, share experiences, and strategize on strengthening their   contributions to Liberia’s media landscape. It will also serve as a moment to recognize FeJAL’s journey in promoting inclusivity and creating spaces where   women in journalism can thrive.

To ensure the smooth planning and successful hosting of the retreat, FeJAL has set up a Retreat Steering Committee tasked with overseeing preparations, mobilizing resources, and coordinating programmatic activities in consultation to the Leadership.

The Association believes in the expertise and dedication of members of the Committee to lead a successful retreat and Homecoming that will   celebrate   our gains, set the Association ahead in promoting women leadership and representation and as well foster inclusivity among women within the Media landscape.
