Global Tracking & Maritime Solutions Liberia Inc. (GTMS Liberia Inc.) has publicly disowned two men it says have been presenting themselves as its executives, and has instructed its lawyers to take them to court. In a press statement issued in Monrovia on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the maritime tracking firm said Presley S. Tenwah and Elvis D. Johnson hold no position in its corporate structure, and that the man who purportedly appointed them is not its director. The company traces the appointments to GTMS-UK, a British firm it says is in compulsory liquidation and with which it denies any link. As THE ANALYST reports, its lawyers have already served a formal disclaimer on Mr. Tenwah.

No Director by That Name

According to the company, Mr. Tenwah’s purported appointment as General Manager-Liberia and Mr. Johnson’s as Public Relations Executive and Operations Manager were made by one Sahr H. W. Ngegba, who it says falsely presented himself as a director of the Liberian company.

“GTMS Liberia Inc. denounces such purported appointments and hereby informs the general public that it does not have in its corporate structure or staff listing anyone by the name of Sahr H. W. Ngegba, let alone any position of Director held by such person,” the statement said.

The company said it is neither a partner nor a subsidiary of GTMS-UK, which it described as a company in liquidation in the United Kingdom, and dismissed the appointments as “wishful thinking.”

It went further and accused the British firm of using them to cover its own troubles: “The purported appointments by a corporation in liquidation in the United Kingdom appear to be a brazen attempt to mislead the public and conceal its glaring administrative inadequacies and massive financial frauds for which it is now being investigated by the British authorities.”

GTMS Liberia Inc. then warned its customers and the wider public against dealing with the two men in its name.

“GTMS Liberia Inc. hereby issues this public DISCLAIMER to warn the general public and its customers not to do any business with Messrs. Presley S. Tenwah and Elvis D. Johnson in the name of GTMS Liberia Incorporated in any form, manner or shape as their purported appointments were orchestrated by a non-existent Director within GTMS Liberia Inc., and therefore, should be regarded as imposters,” the company said.

Lawyers Serve Notice

The company’s retained firm, AFDASA Global Consultancy Inc., of 4th Street, Sinkor, addressed a formal notice dated October 7, 2026, to Mr. Tenwah at his Lone Star Community residence in Congo Town.

The letter, signed by AFDASA’s Corporate Administrative Manager, Joseph Papie Mulbah, accused him of “an escapade of misinformation by parading yourself as General Manager-Liberia, based on a purported appointment dated September 10, 2026, by one Mr. Sahr H. W. Ngegba, who is purporting to be Director of Global Tracking & Maritime Solutions Liberia Inc.”

The firm said its client noted “with disdain and shock” that the appointment was structured under GTMS-UK, which it said has “no direct connection, affiliation, or partnership with GTMS Liberia Inc., a Liberian corporation duly organized and existing under the Laws of Liberia.”

It called the appointment “not only as self-serving, but as a complete figment of the imagination of Mr. Ngegba, with no force and effect on the operations of GTMS Liberia Inc.”

AFDASA advised Mr. Tenwah “and your benefactors to desist forthwith from any and all actions tending to suggest or create the mistaken impression that you are an official, agent, or representative of GTMS Liberia Inc.”

In sharper language, the letter warned that the company “will not take kindly to any youthful exuberance for undue publicity demonstrated in the form of an infantile misdemeanor,” and urged him to act “to avert future embarrassment and to avoid both civil and criminal liability.”

Copies went to Ms. Aminata Bangura, Managing Director of GTMS Liberia Inc., and Cllr. Sayma Syrenius Cephus, the company’s Global Lead Counsel.

Court Action Next

GTMS Liberia Inc. said its Global Lead Counsel has been instructed to file civil and criminal complaints before the courts against Messrs. Tenwah and Johnson and their associates for tortious interference, misrepresentation and the disruption it says they have caused to its operations. In the meantime, the company assured clients, shipping lines and public authorities that its administrative structure remains intact, fully operational and compliant with the laws of Liberia.
