Monrovia, Liberia – Hope Aid Solutions International (HASI), a newly established non-profit organization headquartered in Indianapolis, USA, officially launched its operations in Monrovia with a commitment to improving lives through sustainable development initiatives. HASI has outlined a five-year project focused on enhancing quality of life, promoting self-sufficiency, and strengthening resilience against socio-economic challenges in targeted regions.
Speaking at the launch ceremony held in the Chicken Soup Factory Community, HASI’s Executive Director, Florence Yei Dokie, emphasized the organization’s deep desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable populations. “HASI is dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable solutions to uplift marginalized communities worldwide,” Ms. Dokie stated. She highlighted the organization’s focus areas: education, healthcare, transportation, economic development, and environmental conservation.
CEO Nathaniel O. Ballah reaffirmed HASI’s commitment to creating lasting impacts by addressing the root causes of poverty, inequality, and despair. He noted that the organization’s mission is to establish sustainable solutions that lead to healthier lives, stronger communities, and brighter futures.
The launch ceremony was attended by a diverse group, including orphans, widows, persons living with disabilities (PLWD), marketers, and the visually impaired. Representatives from these groups offered prayers for the success of HASI’s mission and expressed hope that its initiatives would provide opportunities for their children to receive quality education and healthcare.
The event concluded with a communal meal and the distribution of essential items, including rice, food ingredients, and bath soap, to attendees. HASI’s leadership reaffirmed its dedication to empowering vulnerable communities and fostering resilience through innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs of those it serves. A cross-section of HASI’s local officials were present at the launch.
