GREENVILLE, SINOE COUNTY – The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has arrested a woman identified as Teta Kollie for illegal possession of narcotics following a successful search and seizure operation conducted in Greenville, Sinoe County.
According to authorities, the arrest occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025. Kollie, a resident of Monrovia County who was temporarily residing in Farmerville, Greenville, was apprehended after the LDEA Sinoe County Detachment executed a court-issued search and seizure warrant.
During the operation, officers discovered a total of 24.326 kilograms of marijuana in Kollie’s possession. Authorities estimate the street value of the confiscated drugs at US$2,933.00, which amounts to approximately 557,270.00 Liberian Dollars.
Following her arrest, suspect Kollie was investigated, formally charged with possession of narcotic substances, and subsequently forwarded to the Greenville Magisterial Court for trial.
The LDEA has reiterated its commitment to combating drug trafficking and related criminal activities across the country.
