Kuoh expressed strong opposition to the LFA’s suspension of Grace H. Weah, president of Determine Girls FC, and the relegation of Jubilee FC from the second division.
Weah was banned from all football-related activities for 12 months over a social media post, while Jubilee FC was penalized for failing to pay a US$10,000 fine related to submitting fraudulent business registration documents.
“These decisions are not only unlawful but also stand in direct contradiction to the statutes that govern the LFA,” Kuoh stated. “It is Jubilee FC today, but it could be any of us tomorrow.”
He accused the football governing body of using disciplinary measures to silence dissenting voices and influence the outcome of the 2026 LFA Elective Congress.
Kuoh warned that the actions threaten the democratic values of the Association and vowed to challenge the rulings through legal channels. “We will spare no effort to challenge these unlawful decisions using the proper legal framework,” he said.
The FC Fassell president urged all stakeholders—club owners, grassroots leaders, and players—to resist what he called a growing culture of intimidation within the LFA.
“We encourage all stakeholders to unite to ensure our rights are protected. Football in Liberia must be governed by fairness and respect for the rule of law,” Kuoh emphasized.
He called for solidarity among clubs and officials: “We will remain in solidarity with any stakeholder whose rights are being violated. We will not be deterred.”
