She praised the late Minister of State for Presidential Affairs for his profound societal impact, calling his passing a “great loss to the nation.”
As Mother of the Nation, the First Lady extended condolences to the bereaved family, offering prayers for divine comfort during this time of grief.
Ambassador Grigsby, who served until his death on August 9, 2025, succumbed to a prolonged illness. The government has declared a period of mourning, with flags flown at half-mast and tributes pouring in from across the country.
