MONROVIA – Avi Zaidenberg, Managing Director of LISCR Trust Company and Board Chairman of LISCR FC, has praised the longstanding relationship between the United States and Liberia, describing it as a “rich and historic partnership rooted in mutual respect and shared values.”
Mr. Zaidenberg made the remarks in an interview with FrontPage Africa during the celebration of the 249th Independence Anniversary of the United States, held on Wednesday in Monrovia.
Invited as a guest to the high-profile event hosted by the U.S. Embassy, Zaidenberg joined President Joseph Boakai, House Speaker J. Richard Koung, U.S. Ambassador Mark Toner, and other dignitaries at the Masonic Temple on Snapper Hill, near the U.S. Embassy.

Commitment to Football Development
In addition to his role at LISCR Trust Company, Zaidenberg serves as Board Chairman of LISCR FC —also known as the Liberia International Ship & Corporate Registry Football Club—a leading professional football team in Liberia.
Under his leadership, LISCR has emerged as a key supporter of football development in the country, with a special focus on women’s football and youth empowerment. The club is a major sponsor of the Women’s Lower Division League and a long-time backer of the National County Sports Meet, Liberia’s premier inter-county sporting event.
Zaidenberg and LISCR’s involvement in sports reflects their broader commitment to using football as a tool for unity, social development, and youth empowerment. Recently he and LISCR were honored by the Liberia Football Association for their immense contribution to the development of football in Liberia.
“We believe in the power of young people, and we see football as a unifying force that promotes peace and progress,” Zaidenberg said.
