The win was a positive result for LISCR, especially with the return of caretaker coach Taphia Manneh for the remainder of the season.

LISCR will face the winners of the upcoming match between Watanga FC and Gardnerville FC in the semifinals, set for Sunday at the SKD.

In another quarterfinal, Invincible Eleven caused an upset, defeating favorites Discoveries SA in a penalty shootout after coming from behind to level the match.

The Yellow Boys won 4-3 in penalties, securing their place in the semifinals for the second consecutive year. IE will now meet the winners of the Jubilee FC vs. Blackman Warriors match, scheduled for Sunday.

In the women’s category of the Orange Cup, Determine Girls eliminated defending champions Shaita Angels in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw in regular time. Determine Girls completed a hat trick of victories over Shaita, winning 3-4 in penalties.

Other results in the women’s category saw Ravia Angels defeating Earth Angels 5-0, Senior Female PRO beating Bassa Girls 5-1, and World Girls drawing 0-0 with Stages Queens before winning 4-2 in the penalty shootout.
