FUAMAH DISTRICT — Bong County District Seven Representative Foday Fahnbulleh has identified with his constituents in Fuamah and Sanoyea Districts through the distribution of 700 bags of 25-kilogram rice to elderly citizens, community leaders, religious institutions, Bong Mines Hospital, and the District Health Team ahead of Liberia’s 179th Independence Day celebration.

The initiative, described as part of the Fuamah and Sanoyea District “26 Give-Away,” is intended to provide support to vulnerable residents and key institutions as Liberians prepare to commemorate the country’s 179th Independence anniversary.
Representative Fahnbulleh, who represents Fuamah and Sanoyea Districts in the House of Representatives, said the gesture is his way of identifying with the people of District Seven during the festive period while recognizing the contributions of various groups and institutions to the development and well-being of the constituency.
The lawmaker said the distribution is particularly focused on the elderly, whom he described as an important part of the community whose contributions and sacrifices have helped shape the lives of present generations.
He said the elderly deserve recognition and support, especially during festive occasions, adding that the rice distribution is intended to bring relief and a sense of belonging to older citizens who have contributed significantly to their families and communities over the years.
“As part of the Fuamah and Sanoyea District ‘26 Give-Away,’ I am honored to distribute 700 bags of 25kg rice to our elders, Bong Mines Hospital, local leaders, religious communities, and the District Health Team as my way of identifying with our people during this festive season,” Rep. Fahnbulleh said.
