Appearing on Spoon Talk Live, Representative Bility alleged that both Senator Moye and Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay of Margibi County feel “threatened” by his growing presence and political activities in their respective counties.
During the program, Rep. Bility claimed, “When Sen. Prince Moye and Nuquay see my presence in their counties, they feel threatened, but I will continue helping my people.”S
Senator Moye, a two-term former Representative and now Senator of Bong County, was quick to clarify that experience and electoral success matter more than media appearances and philanthropy. His tone suggested that while he welcomes political engagement, he views Rep. Bility’s approach as premature and lacking grounding in the electoral realities of the country’s political terrain.
Senator Moye described Rep. Bility’s assertions as immature and claimed the lawmaker lacks the political standing to rival him.
“How can a man who hasn’t won a county presence make me afraid? You and myself are not in the same league. The day you become senator, we will have that conversation,” Senator Moye said in a statement.
Senator Moye further stated, “By the way, anyone can form a political party — it doesn’t mean you have the numbers. And politics is about numbers. I contested twice as Representative and won before winning the senatorial seat. You are still fresh, and I can see the youthful exuberance in you to be seen as a political heavyweight. But take your time and select your peers.”
