Senator Twehway reiterated his firm commitment to democracy and the rule of law, stressing that the judiciary plays a central role in maintaining fairness, justice, and constitutional order in Liberia.

“The Supreme Court remains the backbone of our democracy, ensuring fairness, justice, and the protection of our constitutional rights,” Senator Twehway stated. “As leaders entrusted with the people’s mandate, it is our solemn duty to lead by example, respect the rule of law, and promote national unity.”

He called on Rivercess lawmakers in the House of Representatives to return to regular legislative duties under Speaker Koffa’s leadership, emphasizing that cooperation and responsible governance are essential for both local development and national stability.

Senator Twehway further underscored the importance of respecting judicial authority, stating that smooth implementation of the Court’s decision is crucial for peace, progress, and continued democratic growth in Rivercess and beyond.

“As public servants, our conduct must reflect the values of justice and accountability,” he said, noting that compliance with the Court’s ruling would not only strengthen public trust but also foster an atmosphere of constructive dialogue and institutional harmony.
