LINA Hosts Future Leaders Town Hall on Youth Development

MONROVIA – The Liberia News Agency (LINA) in collaboration with several youth groups will on Thursday, March 27, 2025, convene a Future Leader Town hall on Youth Development at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Monrovia.

According to LINA Release, the event, which begins at 4:00 p.m., is part of LINA’s broader strategy to make government public relations more engaging and bring decision-makers closer to young people. The central focus of this discussion is: The ARREST Agenda: What’s in it for young people? – ensuring that Liberia’s youth understand how government policies, particularly in times of economic transition, impact their future.

Finance and Development Planning Minister, Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan will address the gathering, providing insights on how the reduction of foreign aid will affect youth development initiatives, including employment opportunities, education programs, and entrepreneurship support.

The public, including youth groups, community leaders, government representatives as well as student organizations are invited to this occasion. The session will be live streamed and published across all major social media platforms to engage the broader Liberian public.
