LNBA Scrutinizing SC Opinion, GoL Reaction -Promises to Issue Statement in Due Course

MONROVIA – The Liberian National Bar Association (LNBA) has disclosed it is currently dissecting the April 23, 2025 opinion of the Supreme Court of Liberia on the Amended Bill of Information filed by Hon. Fonati Koffa and also takes due note of the statement by President Joseph Nyema Boakai on April 24, 2025.

The LNBA said it would address the media on its clear-cut position after a full and thorough analysis, promising “not be impulsively reactive in responding to the prevailing situation absent a thorough legal analysis”.

The Bar says it remains independent and will continue to serve its purpose of upholding to the rule of law in the interest of the state.

The Liberian National Bar Association (LNBA) was established on February 4, 1907 by an act of the National Legislature. The Liberian National Bar Association comprised of lawyers, judges and law students.
