Lpcm Launches Executive Steering Committee And Forms Strategic Subcommittees

MONROVIA – The Executive Steering Committee of the Liberia Political Centrism Movement (LPCM) held its inaugural working session virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. According to a press release issued on Thursday, July 24, 2025, the committee unanimously resolved to establish five permanent working subcommittees to advance LPCM’s strategic and operational agenda:

  • a) Legal
  • b) Policy and Research
  • c) Governance and Strategic Planning
  • d) Information, Outreach and Membership
  • e) Finance and Fundraising
  • Appointment of Subcommittee Chairs:

    The following distinguished individuals were appointed to lead the respective subcommittees:

  • a) Cllr. Dede Nyeplu – Chair, Legal
  • b) Madam Andrea Cooper – Chair, Finance and Fundraising
  • c) Dr. William Kollie – Chair, Policy and Research
  • d) Madam Margaret-Vanessa Blankson – Chair, Information, Outreach and Membership
  • e) Mr. Mahmood Koroma – Chair, Governance and Strategic Planning
  • * Cross-Cutting Support Roles: Additional Executive Steering Committee members contributing across various subcommittees include: Mr. Farashi Rogers, Engr. G. Delino Bryant, Madam Nancy H. Dixon, and Mr. S. Aaron Weahweah III.

    Leadership Continuity: Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala continues to serve as Chairperson of the Executive Steering Committee.

    In the coming weeks, all subcommittees have been tasked with developing actionable plans to guide the formal launch of the LPCM, anticipated for late July to early August 2025.

    In the interim, the LPCM remains committed to broad-based, non-partisan grassroots mobilization, while proactively and objectively engaging the Liberian government and key societal stakeholders to advance national development.
