MONROVIA – The management of the National Housing Authority (NHA), led by Managing Director Florence K. Geegbae, has identified with staff of the NHA, distributed a 25 kg bag of rice and a small gallon of cooking oil in celebration of Liberias 178th Independence Anniversary on July 26, 2025.
Liberia’s Independence Day is commemorated on July 26th marking the nation’s declaration of independence in 1847.
According to the Managing Director, this gesture by the NHA is a thoughtful way to show appreciation for its employees and celebrate the country’s freedom.
To note, the gifting of holiday packages to staff was the first time in several years that the management of the NHA carried out such effort; hence, the employees happily welcomed the gesture and appraised management for such thoughtfulness.
The MD ceased the opportunity to thank her co-pilots, senior management and the general staff for their support, and also called for unity amongst and with everyone in order to have a smooth sailing in addressing the nation’s housing needs.
The donation was made on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the facility of the National Housing Authority, Executive Mansion Grounds.
