Pastor’s Jeep Triggers High-speed Chase And Arrest

MONROVIA – A shocking incident unfolded along the Monrovia-Kakata highway on Saturday morning when a pink camouflage Jeep Wrangler, allegedly owned by prominent Liberian businessman and pastor, Pastor Prince, violently bulldozed through a police checkpoint at 15 Gate. The vehicle, registered under the plate “ZONIC 3,” triggered a tense and chaotic scene, which ultimately led to a high-speed chase and a crash in the Careysburg area.

Law enforcement sources confirm that the Jeep’s actions were prompted by a tip-off regarding suspicious vehicles in the region, particularly around Loguatuo near the Liberian-Ivorian border. The authorities had been on heightened alert following reports of unusual activity, which made the arrival of the vehicle even more alarming. As the Jeep sped past the police checkpoint, two police cruisers and a motorcycle engaged in a pursuit to halt the driver.

The driver, upon being intercepted, reportedly expressed that fear was the primary motivator for his reckless actions. He claimed that the vehicle only contained “perfume and papers,” but a thorough search of the Jeep revealed a different story. Police discovered an unregistered 9mm handgun, along with six rounds of ammunition hidden inside the vehicle.
