Saturday, September 13, 2025

Founder & President, Rudolph Kwanue University College (RKUC)

To the proud owners of Rancelia High School — my dear friends, Hon. Rancy Larry and Mrs. Love Larry — thank you for your leadership and sacrifice.

Hon. P. Folton Blasin, Assistant Minister for Administration, Ministry of Agriculture, Liberia,

Honorable Principal, the school administration, and all faculty and staff — thank you for your tireless work.

To the parents and guardians — we see you, we honor you, and we thank you.

To RKUC Vice President for Administration, who is also lecturing Rancelia senior students, Mr. Emmanuel Bacon; to Mr. Robert Howard; and to the Head of RKUC’s Biology Department — I salute you.

Miss Nana N. Mensahn, Class Sponsor.

To our distinguished community leaders, platform guests, and members of the press — your presence today lifts this ceremony.

And most importantly — to the Class of 2024–2025, known as the Class of GRACE — congratulations.

Today we celebrate you.

Good afternoon, everyone.

Hon. Rancy and I share a long and close friendship. We have walked together from the days of riding motorbikes, hustling and struggling, to being school and business owners. Your name and your family will always be part of Rancelia’s story.

Today, I will be addressing you on the Topic: “Education as the Bridge to Liberia’s Future: A Family Bond between Rancelia and RKUC.”

Why I’m Here — A Return with Blessing

Class of Grace — Your Hello!

I love this class name. Because of this name, you will receive special grace from God and from me now.

Two months ago, I had the honor of speaking here to the younger students. Today, I return — joyful and proud — to witness your graduation. I come not only as a guest but as family.

Rancelia High School is my school in spirit. I can stand and say: “This school is mine.” Yet I also respectfully honor Hon. Rancy Larry and Mrs. Love Larry as the owners and the heart behind this place.

An Important Announcement — A Gift for Rancelia Graduates

Class of Grace — I have come with good and blessed news.

You have suffered too long from ABC to 12th grade. I passed through there, so I know how the road looks.

Your parents have suffered to take food money from their mouths and keep putting it behind you just to give you a good future. You have spent sleepless nights doing research.

Some of you were badly treated by teachers from your past classes. But I have come not only to serve as a guest speaker but to put my hand behind you and your parents — to put all of you into university.

I don’t want for you to finish today and pass around, as we have seen thousands of graduates in the past.

I will not allow you to go and push wheelbarrows. If pushing wheelbarrows was good, then there was no need for your poor mother and father taking money and spending behind you for over 15 years now. I have come for their rescue — to push you forward, to learn, and to be more than me.

As Founder and President of Rudolph Kwanue University College, I proudly announce that all 66 graduates of Rancelia High School will be admitted to RKUC with full tuition waived.

This means there will be no tuition payment required for any of you who enroll at RKUC. Beginning next week, you can start your enrollment process.

I take full responsibility for your tuition until you graduate. Your only responsibility will be to pay your registration fee each semester — but I will cover your tuition.

God has sent me to help this generation. We fought hard to acquire our status from the Government of Liberia through the National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE), and today we have a beautiful learning environment, full accreditation with NCHE, and international recognition — right in Pipeline, Wein Town.

I am providing this scholarship because of the relationship between Rancelia and RKUC. People all over Liberia are searching for such an opportunity — and today, you have it. This scholarship will cover more than $70,000 USD in tuition that other students are paying. This is possible only because of the partnership between our institutions.

Two practical points:

  • Your WAEC results and your Rancelia school records will make your enrollment process fast and simple. Because you passed the public WAEC test and have your school documents, RKUC will fast-track your admission.
  • Bring your Rancelia records to the RKUC Admissions Office in Wein Town — you will be welcomed as family. We will make the paperwork easy because you have already done what matters: you studied and you passed.
  • This is not just charity — this is family support. Rancelia and RKUC are joined by vision, by friendship, and by a shared commitment to the future of our children.

    Why This Affiliation Matters

An affiliation between a good high school and a university creates a bridge. It removes fear. It turns confusion into direction. When Rancelia graduates know that RKUC is waiting for them, families no longer have to choose between hunger and education.

This partnership strengthens our community, builds skilled citizens, and gives Liberia the leaders she needs.

To the Parents — Keep Investing in Education

To the mothers and fathers here today: your effort matters more than money. If you have little, give time, encouragement, discipline, and prayer. Keep putting your children in school. Keep reading with them. Keep checking their homework.

Education pays — not always today, but it pays for life. You are making the best investment a parent can make.

    To the Teachers and Administration

To our teachers and school leadership: continue to teach with patience and integrity. Never insult a child because of poverty. Correct with love. Children remember words more than we think; your encouragement will build a nation.

To the Young People — Strong Advice

Young people of Rancelia, hear me clearly:

    Avoid smoking.

    Avoid drinking alcohol.

Avoid dangerous friends who lead you into trouble.

These things steal your talent, your health, and your future. If someone asks you to smoke, drink, or join criminal acts — say “No.” Choose friends who lift you, not friends who drag you down.

Know Your Left and Right — Think Critically

Nothing is more important in life than knowing your left and right — that is, know your rights and your responsibilities; know who you are; know the difference between a true friend and someone who uses you.

Learn to think critically. Ask questions. Do not be carried away by every voice in the crowd. If you do not know your left from your right, someone will take advantage of you tomorrow.

    Learn to think. Read. Ask.

Judge for yourself. That knowledge will protect you.

A Call to the Government and Public

I call on the Government of Liberia and all public leaders: continue supporting education. Education is a right for every child. Invest in schools, teachers, and programs that remove barriers for poor families. When you invest in education, you build security, prosperity, and peace.

    An Invitation

Graduates — Wein Town and RKUC await you. Come with your documents. Come with your WAEC results. Join the RKUC family, and step into the opportunities we have prepared for you.

    Closing Blessing and Charge

Class of 2025, I bless your steps. Walk with honesty, work with diligence, and serve with humility. Remember the sacrifices behind you — your parents, your teachers, your community. Live to repay that sacrifice by building a better Liberia.

Hon. Rancy Larry and Mrs. Love Larry — thank you for believing in our children. Parents, teachers, community — keep faith and keep working.

Government and leaders — keep supporting every child’s right to education.

Now, graduates — stand tall, sing loud, and celebrate this moment.

The future is yours. May Yahweh bless Rancelia High School, may He bless each graduate, and may He bless the Republic of Liberia.

    Thank you.
