Who Owns the Zamkpayeamah Public School Project in Bong?

Gbarnga, Bong County, April 30, 2026 — Residents of Zamkpayeamah Town in Electoral District #7, Fuamah Administrative District, Bong County, are raising questions over the true ownership and funding source of the Zamkpayeamah Public School project.

The concerns follow conflicting claims from supporters of Senator Prince Kermue Moye, Sr. and Foday E. Fahnbulleh, who have separately credited the lawmakers for financing the construction of the school.

At the same time, Bong County’s public relations outlet, the Bong Information Desk, announced that the project was funded through the County Social Development Fund, suggesting the initiative is a county-backed development project rather than a privately sponsored political effort.

The conflicting narratives have created uncertainty among residents, many of whom are calling for transparency from both lawmakers and county authorities.

The citizens say they want a clear explanation on whether the school is a personal donation from elected officials or a public project financed with county resources.

Moreover, community members argue that clarity is necessary to ensure accountability and to prevent the politicization of public development initiatives.

They stressed that if county funds were used, the project should be recognized as belonging to the people of Bong County rather than any individual politician.

Residents of Fuamah District are now urging Sen. Prince Kermue Moye, Rep. Foday Fahnbulleh, and Bong County Superintendent Hawa Loleyah Norris to publicly clarify the matter.
