Ex-Bong Rep. Candidate Empowers Local Farmers | News

Former Bong County Electoral District 4 Representative Candidate,  Quanuquanei A. Kermue, has announced a significant salary increase for eight female farmers in district#4 in the County.

According to Kermue, the new salary, which has risen from 250 Liberian Dollars  to an impressive $ 9,700 LD after every two weeks, is designed to provide these women with the financial resources necessary to support their families and invest in their children’s education.

Mr. Kermue, a prominent development figure in Bong County electoral #4 narrated that empowering women is not just a moral obligation to him; but it is essential for the development of the People District 4 and Liberia at large.

The Bong County District 4 Representative Candidate noted that by increasing the women’s salaries, it enabled them to take charge of their households and ensure that their children receive a quality education in Liberia.

The  women have been entrusted with the management of micro-farms across a sprawling 500 acres of farmland that is being cultivated by his office in Zota district.

He revealed that he is on the verge contributing to development of Bong County Electoral District#4 through road connectivity, infrastructure and agriculture both in Panta Administrative and Zota administrative Districts.

Mr. Quanuquanei Alfred  Karmue said as part of his quest to develop the District; of recent he presented a brand new earth moving equipment worth little over seventy thousand ($70,000.00) United States Dollars to citizens of Panta District.

The move by the Bong County former representative candidate is part of its developmental agenda with a focus on road construction and agriculture development.

“The initiative is part of our vision to see the District develop through roads and agriculture in Panta and Zota District#4, Bong County, and Liberia at large,” he added.

He further assured the citizens that despite being defeated he would continue to undertake the needed development for the overall development of the District, Bong County, and Liberia at large.

Meanwhile, the Women who joyfully spoke with journalists thanked Mr. Kermue for their salary increment as local farmers, adding that said money will meaningfully contribute to the substantiality of their respective families.

The women expressed excitement over the presentation of the cash, and vowed to properly manage the money.

The 8 women said it’s the first of a kind in the history of Electoral District#4 for a defeated representative candidate to do such a thing as  Quanuquanei Alfred Karmue did for the citizens in the district.

They described Mr.  Quanuquanei Alfred Karmue as a developer in Bong County electoral District#4.

“As we speak  Quanuquanei Alfred Karmue is constructing a modern state-of-the-art medical health center in Garmu Town, Panta District#4 which is worth a little over two hundred fifty-thousand ($250,000.00) United States Dollars,” they revealed.
