Liberia: Bill Jallah Faces Court Over Gruesome Murder of Princess Zuo, Attack on Sister

Monrovia-Bill Jallah, the man accused of the gruesome murder of his ex-girlfriend, Princess Zuo, and the assault of his sister, Kormassa Jallah, has been forwarded to court, following multiple charges brought against him, by the Liberia National Police.

The charges include murder, aggravated assault, and criminal attempt to commit murder, stemming from a violent incident that unfolded on Saturday, December 21, at a local entertainment center in Duport Road, Paynesville.

The incident which has left the country reeling, began as an attempt by Jallah to reconcile with Princess.

However, her refusal reportedly triggered a violent outburst.

Eyewitnesses said, that Jallah first allegedly attacked his sister, stabbing her in the arm, before launching a brutal assault on Princess.

Princess reportedly suffered multiple stab wounds to her abdomen, neck, stomach, and back and later succumbed to her injuries shortly after the attack, despite efforts by bystanders to save her.

He was later taken to the Liberia National Police Headquarters in Monrovia for investigation and later charged with Sections 14.1 and 14.20 of the Liberia Penal Code, citing murder and aggravated assault as his primary offenses.

According to the Liberia National Police, the evidence collected during the investigation, including eyewitness testimonies points to Jallah’s actions.

Jallah Jas has been forwarded to the court and is expected to appear in the coming days.

The nature of the crime has sparked national outrage with many Liberians demanding Swift justice.

Meanwhile, Kormassa Jallah, who survived the assault, remains hospitalized and is reported to be in stable condition.

Her testimony is expected to play a crucial role in the prosecution’s case against her brother.
