Gbarnga — As part of ensuring accurate prognosis, the Courage Medical and Rehab Center in Gbarnga, Bong County has procured several diagnostic equipment to help parents explain their conditions.

The health center was constructed by Dennis Garsinii, a stakeholder of the county, a few months ago and is credited with providing quality health care services. Garsinii emphasized that the medical facility would address the health needs of residents of the county.
In an interview with Frontpage Africa Monday, the administrator of the health facility, Musa Fofana, said patients often struggle with explaining their conditions but the imaging equipment would put an end to these challenges.
Mr. Fofana lamented that they have an ultrasound machines used to scan and visualize critical health conditions, without any need of explanation.
Additionally, he stated that they are running maternal care, inpatient, home care and emergency services, among others.
Commenting on the issue of home care, Courage Medical and Rehab Center administrator said nurses and physicians also provide treatment to patients, particularly older folks in their homes given the severity of their illness.
Mr. Fofana disclosed that the health center is equipped with essential medical drugs, some imported from America and others locally procured from Liberia.
According to Fofana, the facility in its quest of providing comprehensive patient care, runs both day and night shifts to cater to patients upon arrival.
