GANTA — Grand Gedeh County Senator Thomas Nimley has claimed that the late Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson was “troubled” by the Unity Party’s decision to sign a resolution to establish the war and economic crimes court.

Paying tribute to the former warlord turned senator, Senator Nimley said Senator Johnson had complained about him being betrayed by the Unity Party despite promises made to him during the 2023 presidential campaign.

“Former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf promised Senator Prince Johnson of not establishing the war and economic crimes court. Former President George Weah did the same by not talking about the establishment of the war and economic crimes court. Why Unity Party,” Senator Nimley said while paying tribute.
