This paper has cogently gathered that the deceased, Alvin Paye Dolo, who recently graduated from the John Wesley Pearson High School, used his neck-tie to carry on the act.

His lifeless body was found hanging at a popular food center (Gbarmie Village) in Ganta, where the traditional Nimba GB is sold on the main street of Ganta.

Reasons behind Alvin’s action remain unknown as local authorities in the area launch an investigation into that matter.

Fresh reports (still unconfirmed) coming in say, the victim Alvin Paye Dolo is believed to have suffered from Erectile dysfunction, a situation that may have caused him to commit the act.

According to our correspondent, suicide among men has now become a new normal in Nimba County, stating that the latest report brings to ten, the total number of suicides committed in Nimba between October 2024 and January 2025.

Meanwhile, Police in Ganta told Frontpage Africa that they had launched an investigation into the death of Alvin, who had just graduated from High School in Ganta close to a month ago.

Just a few days ago, a 28-year-old motorcyclist committed the same act (suicide) after he had allegedly failed to provide his daily report fee of one- thousand Liberia dollars ($LRD1000.00).
