According to an Executive Mansion press release, this action reflects the President’s unwavering commitment to transparency and his aversion to corruption and graft.

President Boakai stated that this move fulfills his commitment to upholding the Constitution and laws of Liberia, alongside his dedication to fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and good governance.

The President emphasized that by making his assets declaration publicly available, he aims to set a compelling example for public officials and citizens alike, highlighting the importance of accountability and ethical leadership.

“This move underscores my vision for a Liberia where honesty and integrity form the bedrock of governance and where the principles of fairness and justice guide our nation’s progress,” President Boakai remarked.

He further explained that his decision to disclose his assets demonstrates his belief in leading by example and his determination to create a government that operates with the highest standards of integrity.

“Transparency not only strengthens public trust but also underscores an unyielding dedication to rooting out corruption and fostering a climate of openness and accountability,” the President declared.

President Boakai reiterated his hope that by continuing to champion transparency and ethical conduct, his actions will serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration for all Liberians, signaling an era of responsible and conscientious leadership committed to the nation’s welfare.
